SOLE Two-Factor Authentication
Two-factor authentication (2FA, along with similar terms) is an electronic authentication method in which a person is granted access to a website or application only after successfully presenting two or more pieces of evidence (or factors): knowledge (something only the user knows, like a password), possession (something only the user has, like a cell phone).
Methods for Two-Factor Authentication
Authenticator Application
- Download an authenticator application to your mobile device (or use one you've already downloaded).
- Scan the QR code presented in SOLE from within your authenticator application.
* If you cannot scan the QR code SOLE will provide manual setup instructions. - Enter the security code generated by your authenticator application.
