SOLE is excited to share the new SOLE Annotator! Now when previewing a Word, Excel, PDF, and PowerPoint file (max file size 100MB) within SOLE, users can utilize its built-in commenting, highlighting and drawing tools.

Annotations made within Content are unique to the user (students/administrators), while those made by instructors using the Detailed Grader can be used to provide students with specified feedback.

It is always recommended that students download any annotations they've made to Content. Administrators should remind students to download their annotations (e.g., PPT lectures) if they plan to update the document in SOLE. Otherwise, the students' notes will be lost.
