New faculty and those who want to learn more about teaching in the SOLE system are encouraged to sign up for any or all Course and Site Administrators training opportunities that Information Technology Services is offering between May and August. When the requirements are met at the end of each course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion.

There are five sequential courses within every series:

1) Starting with SOLE

2) Creating Exams and Questions

3) Working with Assignments and Rubrics

4) Discovering the Gradebook

5) Interpreting Engagement and Tools

Registration is required. For scheduling details, please visit our Registration page. If you cannot attend the workshop for which you’ve registered, please cancel at least one business day before the event.

Contact solesupport@hsc.wvu.edu to schedule private training for groups of five or more people. Face-to-face sessions with fewer than three registrants may be canceled or rescheduled.
