Creating Exam Sections
After creating your exam, use the Add Questions button to add questions to the exam. A Default Section is automatically created, but additional sections can be added as needed.
Creating and Managing Sections
- Click the Add Section button to create a new section. You’ll need to define the Section Title and can optionally add a Section Description.
Each section includes the following buttons for management:
- Add Questions: Adds questions to the section.
- Delete All Questions: This button appears once questions are added, allowing you to delete all questions without removing the section itself.
- Edit Section: Edits the title and description. After adding questions, you can also adjust the point value for all questions and set the number of questions to use from the section.
- Delete Section: Deletes the section along with any questions it contains.
Setting Point Values and Randomizing Questions
- Set Point Values: To apply a point value to all questions within a section, edit the section and enter a value in the provided text box.
- Random Selection of Questions: By default, all questions in a section are used in the exam. However, you can set SOLE to randomly select a specific number of questions by entering a value in the Number of questions to include text box. If you want all questions to appear, leave this field blank.
Reordering Sections
Sections can be reordered while the exam is in Draft mode:
- Click the Order Sections button at the top of the screen, then drag and drop sections to arrange them as desired.
