Copying Exams Within and Across Courses
-
Copying an Exam Within the Same Course:
After adding questions to an exam, you can use the Copy Exam button to create an identical copy of the exam within the same course. This includes all exam settings and questions, making it useful if you’d like to edit an existing exam without affecting current submissions. -
Copying an Exam to Another Course:
- To copy an exam from one course to another, use the Exam Export and Import features. This creates a new copy in the target course, preserving all exam settings and questions.
- When viewing the exam you wish to copy, click Export Exam. This downloads a .ebk file, which can be imported into another course.
-
Importing an Exam:
- Go to Exams in the target course and click Import Exam.
- Select the .ebk file you exported and click Import File. This process will add a copy of the exam, along with its questions, to the course’s Question Bank.
This setup allows easy exam replication both within the same course and across different courses, helping streamline content management.
