The Quality Matters program is a faculty-centered, peer review process to certify the quality of online courses and online components. QM is a leader in quality assurance for online education and has received national recognition for its faculty-centered approach to continuous improvement in online education. West Virginia University became a member of Quality Matters in February 2012.

SOLE’s Quality Matters (QM) Template is designed to be uploaded by SOLE Support to give your course the basic framework of an online course that wants to be reviewed and certified by QM. It also provides varying resources, tips, and an instructor guide to help faculty get started building their online learning course in SOLE.

If you'd like to add the QM Template to your course, you can request it during a new SOLE Course Request or submit a SOLE Support Request to learn more about adding it to a current course shell.
