Starting December 28, 2017, Crocodoc (acquired by box.com) will reach its end of life and no longer be available in SOLE. The Crocodoc Document Viewer is currently used to view Word, Excel, PDF, and PowerPoint file types. The document preview includes annotation tools in SOLE Content and the SOLE Detailed Grader.
Students can still preview content (Word, PDF, PowerPoint and Excel) in SOLE. However, annotations on content will not be available during the 2018 spring semester. Students are encouraged to utilize SOLE Notes or other preferred notetaking/annotation tools for content notes during the 2018 spring semester. Students should download any current annotated files for historic preservation.
Instructors can still utilize the SOLE Detailed Grader and preview documents. However, annotations will not be available on a previewed document within the Detailed Grader during the 2018 spring semester. We thank you for your patience while we work to provide a full annotation feature in SOLE. We anticipate an update for the 2018 summer semester.
