Groups

Groups allows groups of students to be added based on their Unit/Program. Adding users using the Groups button adds the users to the Guest Role. The individuals within the Guest Role can view all course material, but cannot participate in discussions, surveys, journal, chat, or exams.

To begin adding a group, click the green circle button green circle icon with white plus sign. Use the drop down menu to select a unit/program then choose from the available groups. Users within a group may also be added based on their listed graduation year by selecting a year from the drop down menu on the right. 

Only branches which have users and have not already been added to the course will appear on this drop down list.

Click the Add Groups button once all selections have been made.
