Types of Objectives

Effective learning objectives use action verbs to describe what you want your students to be able to do by the end of the course or unit. Objectives should be written at the Course Level as well as on the Content Level. Aligning assignments and assessments with course expectations is much easier when you have written measurable objectives from the beginning.

SOLE Learning Objectives allows you to specify Course Level Learning Objectives, which defines for the student what is expected of them at the end of the course. Content Level Objectives can also be attached to individual pieces of Content as well as to Assessments within SOLE. Content Level Objects can then be connected to the Course Level Objectives in order to map your content.
